Bringing together professionals from across the embedded software industry, Sindelfingen, Germany, will take center stage next week as it hosts the Embedded Software Engineering Kongress. This annual congress will have roughly 1,200 attendees under one roof to discuss the latest technologies and strategize for the upcoming year. Taking place from December 1 to 5, this event will feature a range of presentations and panels focused on the challenges of developing device and system software for industrial applications.
To ensure open source is represented in these discussions, our very own Marcus Edel will give a talk on large open source models. During his presentation he'll explore WhisperSpeech, the open source text-to-speech model developed by Collabora, including the process of creating training pipelines and the challenges faced along the way. Join him this coming Wednesday as he shares tips for optimizing large AI models for use on embedded hardware.
