Known for its canals and cyclists, Amsterdam is is preparing to welcome open source enthusiasts from around the world for Open Source Summit Europe 2025, beginning August 25th at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre. This three-day conference is the premier event for all levels of open source development to learn, share, and collaborate.
Collabora is excited to be contributing to this large-scale open source gathering with five talks! One will focus on operational risk management, while three as part of the Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) track will explore Bluetooth & Auracast, mainline video capture for Rockchip, and the reliability enabled by KernelCI. Our fifth talk will take place at the Git Mini Summit 2025, one of the co-located events. Details for all five presentations are available below.
To provide visual insight as to what we've been up to, Collabora will also be participating in the ELC Technical Showcase, taking place on Tuesday, August 26, from 17:00 to 18:30 CEST. Drop by to see some of our work in action, including Wayland-rendered HDR10 video, running on RADXA Rock5 RK3588, and Debian 13 running on a MediaTek Genio EVK.
The Git Mini Summit will be taking place on Thursday, August 28th, featuring a talk by Adrian Ratiu. Those interested in attending who can't make it to Open Source Summit may register separately.
On the same day, Collabora is sponsoring the KernelCI Workshop, taking place at the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam. Attendance is free, but make sure to register to secure your spot.
If you're attending one of our talks, please come say hello!
See you in Amsterdam!
