In just over a weeks' time, Collabora will be making its way to the NürnbergMesse in Nuremberg, Germany, to take part in Embedded World 2025. One of the largest trade fairs of its kind, and a global platform for the embedded community, this year's show will take place from March 11 to 13.

Collabora will once again be set up in Hall 4, Booth 4-404, with multiple demos to showcase what we've been working on, including:

  • Machine learning video analytics with GStreamer on the Renesas RZ/G2L, the MediaTek Genio 700, and STMicroelectronics' STM32MP2;
  • Machine learning object detection with GStreamer on Radxa's Orion 06, the world's first Open Source Arm V9 motherboard;
  • NVK, the Open Source Vulkan driver for NVIDIA which includes the first Rust implementation of a Vulkan compiler;
  • Wayland-rendered HDR10 video, running on RADXA Rock5 RK3588 and using the Hantro AV1 10bit decoding accelerator;
  • ElectricMaple Open Source XR remote-rendering, leveraging Monado OpenXR and GStreamer;
  • Open Source in video streaming applications: GStreamer integration for Audinate Dante AV-H and Dante Studio;
  • From prototype to complete wearable streaming platform: ActionStreamer's seamless Open Source innovation;
  • Continuous testing with LAVA, showcasing Collabora's recent hardware enablement and Continuous integration (CI) efforts. Recent SoCs including the RK3588, the TI AM625, the MediaTek Genio 1200, and the STM32MP157 will be running a mainline-first Linux software stack and tested in a CI loop with the LAVA test framework.

Whether its writing a line of code or shaping a long-term strategic software development plan, Collabora can accelerate and facilitate the realization of your embedded Open Source projects. Let us show you how we can help! Drop in for a friendly 'Hallo' at booth 4-404!

See you there!
