Next week Collabora will be heading to Stuttgart, Germany to exhibit at XR EXPO 2025 for the first time! This two-day event has acclaimed itself as THE meeting point for industry users, technology providers, content service providers, and XR researchers. Taking place from May 8 to 9, Collabora will be present with a booth located at A18 in the Porsche Arena.

To showcase what we've been working on in the world of XR, we will have two different demos you can experience when you visit our booth:

  • ElectricMaple: Open Source XR remote-rendering, leveraging Monado OpenXR and GStreamer
  • SOMAR: an immersive XR experience highlighting the impact of noise pollution on marine life

Complimenting our presence at the expo, our very own Frederic Plourde will be giving a talk on the recent updates to the OpenXR core specifications at the Maritim Hotel Convention Center.

If you are attending XR Expo next week and would like to meet to discuss how we can assist with your Open Source and Linux-based projects, please get in touch. Our team will be happy to set some time aside to meet with you.

Bis bald Stuttgart!
