For over 20 years Collabora has been helping its clients navigate the ever-evolving world of Open Source. By contributing directly upstream to key Open Source projects, Collabora is able to address customer challenges more effectively, and deliver solutions that reduce time to market. Its deep understanding of technical requirements and real-world constraints enables faster, more impactful engagements. This longstanding expertise and upstream-first approach make Collabora a natural fit for deeper collaboration with hardware partners like Toradex. Today, we are excited to take that collaboration a step further by joining the Toradex Proven Partner Network.
"Collabora is thrilled to join forces with Toradex to bring together our two complementary strengths: their industry-leading hardware expertise and our deep Open Source software contributions. This partnership ensures customers can build embedded products with long-term maintenance viability that will meet the challenges of tomorrow, such as compliance with the Cybersecurity Resilience Act (CRA), all built on proven Toradex platforms and upstream-first software.", said Guy Lunardi, Collabora's VP of Business Development.
Collabora has worked closely with customers to integrate and optimize Toradex SoMs across a wide range of products. Most recently, Collabora was hired by global technology leader who specializes in safety-critical applications across the automotive, commercial vehicle, medical, and industrial sectors. Faced with audio performance challenges in a medical device powered by the Toradex Verdin iMX8M Mini, the customer sought Collabora's expertise to fine-tune the audio pipelines and configuration, including audio processing, echo cancellation, two-way call audio quality, and more.
