From May 9 to 11, Collabora will be attending the GENIVI All Member Meeting & Open Community Days: Advancing Connected Vehicles in a Connected World.

Taking place in Birmingham, UK, this spring event brings the IVI and Connected Car community together to explore GENIVI’s most recent technology advancements in Open Source in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and connected car software.

Collaborans André Moreira Magalhaes, Ekaterina Gerasimova, and Shane Fagan will be in attendance during the sessions, as well as during the Member Showcase & Reception, so if you see one of them, please come say hello! Of course, please contact us directly if you would like to meet with us during the conference!

Furthermore, André and Ekaterina will be giving a talk on Thursday, 10 May at 15:30 BST, titled "GENIVI App Framework APIs in Action – A Case Study":

This session will cover how current automotive application frameworks are aiming to address the industry's requirements. While they attempt to rely on upstream development as much as possible, this presentation will highlight the impacts of some of the departures from upstream efforts. We’ll also focus on the current status of the GENIVI AppFW effort, including comparisons with AGL Application Framework and the Apertis Application Framework. It will provide a quick overview and status update on recent development.

You can view the complete program here. See you there!
