This week the Rust community will get to celebrate the 10th year of RustConf in Montreal, Canada! This annual event brings together Rustaceans from around the globe to collaborate on the latest Rust developments and ideas for its future. This year's conference will take place from September 8 to 11 at Palais des Congrès de Montréal.

Advancing Rust’s role in the Linux graphics stack, our very own Daniel Almeida will be giving a talk on Tyr, a new Rust GPU driver for the Linux kernel. The session will explore how Tyr brings Rust into GPU kernel driver development, building on Collabora’s work around DRM infrastructure and Arm Mali hardware. Join him next Thursday to learn more!
