Reading time:

Mere weeks after the debut of Open Source Summit Latin America, Dublin continues the collaborative momentum with the 2022 hybrid editions of Linux Plumbers Conference (LPC) and Open Source Summit Europe!

Linux Plumbers

Running from September 12 to 14 at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road, LPC is widely recognized as the premier event for developers working at all levels of the Linux kernel's plumbing layer and beyond. Jam-packed with microconferences, a refereed main track, a Kernel Summit track, a Networking & BPF Summit track, multiple BoFs, and more, the 2022 edition, sponsored by Collabora, promises to be a can't-miss event. Make sure to come say hello, especially in Kernel Testing & Dependability MC, co-led by Collabora's Guillaume Tucker.

Open Source Summit Europe

Starting September 13, this 4-day event will welcome new open source enthusiasts and experienced advocates, both in-person and virtually. With more than a dozen engineers taking part, you're bound to bump into one of Collabora's own as you walk the halls! In addition, this year's Summit will feature 6 different talks from our engineers here at Collabora. Anyone from a developer to a community manager will be able to gain currents insights from our presenters. Mark a spot in your calendar for these engaging talks below.

Before the Summit officially begins however, Nicolas Dufresne & Benjamin Gaignard will also be joining the Linux Media Summit, led by Hans Verkuil, on Monday, September 12. As the premier premier forum to discuss Linux multimedia development, we're proud to be sponsoring this one-day event, enabling media developers to meet face-to-face.

Additionally, Nicolas will be taking part in the Speed Mentoring session on Tuesday, September 13, from 13:00 to 14:45 UTC. If you're looking to learn more about a open source development, come have a chat with Nicolas, he'll be happy to answer all your questions!
