Reading time:
Google Open Source have chosen their second group of winners for the 2023 Google Open Source Peer Bonus program, and Arnaud Ferraris, Senior Software Engineer at Collabora and Mobian project lead, is among the recipients!
The program has been active since 2011 and "recognizes external open source contributors who have been nominated by Googlers for their exceptional contributions to open source projects".
In Arnaud's case, he has been recognized for his ongoing work on Mobian, the free, Debian-based distribution for mobile devices. The project has been under development since 2020 but has been progressing quickly, with a first stable release, based on Debian 12, made available earlier this year.
Congratulations to Arnaud & all the other winners for this well-deserved recognition!
