Hardware enablement

Delivering an easy-to-use and complete BSP enables customers to adopt your new platform with the minimum of hands-on support.

Collabora has assisted many leading semiconductor vendors with the software solution required for their new products. Our complete build and infrastructure competencies enable Collabora to produce software development kits (SDK) quickly and without requiring extensive interaction with busy engineering staff.

As part of our embedded systems development services we also produce Linux kernel modifications/optimizations and device drivers creation.

Time to market

Collabora builds operating systems and infrastructure software optimized to each of our customers' products. We deliver software development kits (SDKs) for our customers as complete board support packages (BSPs).

Integrating with existing software constraints and development tools is a daily part of Collabora's work. While we are convinced that open source provides best of breed software, you may need to leverage software from existing vendors. Collabora is intimately familiar with Yocto, Open Build Service (OBS) and all the leading open source software distributions that can be utilized as a baseline for your next project.
